ALS CREW
(Advanced Life Support)
ALS Crews deliver advanced life support with higher-level medical interventions
Personnel
Includes at least one paramedic along with another EMT or paramedic.
Capabilities
Offers a higher level of medical care including advanced airway management (intubation), cardiac monitoring, administering intravenous fluids and medications, performing advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and other advanced procedures.
Scope
Manages more complex and critical medical emergencies, providing comprehensive pre-hospital care.
MD / RN
(Medical Doctors & Registered Nurses)
MD/RN teams offer the most comprehensive care, including full medical and nursing capabilities, advanced procedures, and complex decision making.
Personnel
- Medical Doctors (MDs): Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians
- Registered Nurses (RNs): Emergency trained
Capabilities
Provides a full range of medical and nursing care, including the diagnosis and management of medical conditions. This option also allows for the performance of advanced procedures and interventions, the prescription of medications and treatments, and comprehensive patient care, along with complex clinical decision-making.
